A quieter
gym journal,
with your friends on it.

Gear is a workout log built around the people you actually lift with. Log the set, share the session, see what your friends did today. No influencers. No coaches yelling. Just the five or ten people you'd text after a good pull day anyway.

Reps first, photos second. Numbers as the UI. Friends over followers. Tap, don't press. Every set, shared with your circle. Train together, even when you're solo.
Design principles

Everything is just the number you came to change.

We rebuilt the workout log around the three digits that actually matter: reps, weight, and the check that says the set happened. Nothing else competes.

01

The number is the button.

One tap, one number, done. The whole app is this quiet, nothing between you and the set you just did.

02

A streak you see, not chase.

We show your week, not a badge. The orange dot is the only color in the app, reserved for the day you actually trained.

03

A feed, finally, for the people you actually lift with.

Text a few friends an invite. Their sessions show up with yours, just the handful of people you'd already tell about a good pull day.

The only visualization

A year of training, in one glance.

Every workout you log fills a square. Nothing else does. The grid is the record, it's the only place the app claims to know something about your progress.

About us

Four lifters who got tired of everything else.

Gear is made by four developers who met at the same gym and kept complaining about the same apps. We split the work four ways, ship slowly, and lift four times a week. If something in the app feels off, one of us wrote it — and one of us will fix it.
